About our company
My mom and I started making and selling greeting cards to help support my sister, Laura, when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006. After her passing in 2010, we decided to continue the cards to help others in their cancer journey. My mom was also diagnosed and treated for breast cancer in 2008. She is still cancer free! The proceeds raised from the sale of these cards get donated to cancer research and support services.
The name HaLaMa is actually a combination of our names. Heidi=Ha (first and middle initials), Laura=La (Nicknamed LaLa), and Carol=Ma, since she's the mom of Ha and La.
About our cards
Unless otherwise noted, all cards are 4.25" X 5.5" and blank inside so that you can add your own special message. As with most handmade items, there may be slight variations or pattern differences between each card. If you live in the Minneapolis area and would like to purchase the cards directly to avoid the shipping fee (which is included in the price of the cards), please contact us for arrangements.
Cotton Face Masks
While these masks aren't medical-grade or substitutes for N95 masks, they can potentially discourage touching your face and signal that you are trying to protect yourself and others. Masks have 100% cotton material on the outside and are lined with interfacing. I will also include a button strap for the back of your head in order to help avoid ear discomfort or interference with hearing devices. The price of $5 for these masks will cover raw materials and shipping costs, with any excess amounts generated being donated to COVID-19 assistance organizations. Come back often as new patterns are loaded as they are created.
